Brahma Kumaris, Mumbai (Ghatkopar Subzone) organized “Sakhi Minithon 2025”, on February 2nd at the Acharya Atre Sports Ground in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, and the event was a resounding success. The event, themed “Celebrate, Inspire, Unite: Every Mile is a Milestone,” brought together women from diverse backgrounds and age groups to promote health, wellness, and togetherness. The day began in a vibrant atmosphere as participants gathered early in the morning. The event kicked off at 6 AM, followed by a warm up session by Dr. Nikhil Shasane – Consulting Homeopath & Dance / Fitness Therapist. At 7 AM, the much-anticipated 4 km run commenced, with women of all ages enthusiastically taking part. The event was flagged off in the presence of Rajyogi Brahma Kumar Nikunj – Spiritual Mentor, Popular Columnist with over 8500+ published columns in newspapers across India, Nepal & UK and National Coordinator of Media Wing of Brahma Kumaris, Rajyogini Brahmakumari Shaku Didi Ji – Addl. Director of Brahma Kumaris Ghatkopar Subzone, Senior Advocate Seema Sarnaik Ji – Member of Advocates Association of Western India & practising since 40 years in Bombay High Court, Mr. Nitin Ashar – MD of True Value Marketing Service Pvt. Ltd and Senior Rajyoga Teachers BK Neelima (Incharge – Brahmakumaris Vikhroli), BK Sarla (Incharge – Brahmakumaris Chembur). In his address to the participants, Rajyogi Brahmakumar Nikunj conveyed to them the 3 blessings from Rajyogini Brahmakumari Dr. Nalini Didi Ji – Director of Brahma Kumaris Ghatkopar Subzone – of being always contented, of being a well wisher of all and of being always victorious! He claimed all the women to be winners irrespective of the outcome of the Minithon. The Invited Guests praised and congratulated the women to have gathered there in early hours of Sunday morning and urged them to be self-reliant in their personal lives. The event was anchored by Sagar Aharwal – Free Lancing Anchor & Educator. Self Defence exercises were presented by Karate Coach Shashikant More. Kajal Prajapati, Aarti Kherde & Monica More emerged as the Winner, 1st Runner Up & 2nd Runner up respectively. The Minithon included amenities like Free Medical Camp (Checking of vitals like random Blood Sugar, BP, Bone Density checks, Eye Check-up, Dental Check Up) and Rajyoga Meditation Camp. Along with these free amenities, A Goody Bag with essential items for Women was given as a “Take Away” in the Minithon. About 2500 Women participated in the Minithon that highlighted the importance of physical and mental well-being, fostering a sense of community and solidarity among women, leaving them motivated to continue their journey towards a healthier and more united future.
