On the occasion of World Environment Day, Brahma Kumaris Yog Bhavan, Mumbai, Ghatkopar organized a spiritually uplifting and environmentally conscious event at Brahmakumaris Peace Park. The celebration beautifully blended spiritual wisdom with ecological awareness, drawing participation from several senior dignitaries, including esteemed Police Officers and Mr. Thakur, an engineer from MHADA – Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority; who graced the event.
The program began in a serene and soulful atmosphere, of calming music. BK Vishnupriya – Additional Incharge of Brahma Kumaris Ghatkopar Subzone, enlightened the audiences, emphasizing on how pure thoughts and vibrations can heal the environment. She mentioned of the spiritual bond between humans and nature, highlighting how the Supreme Soul nurtures all beings through the “nectar of knowledge”—divine wisdom that rejuvenates both the Human Soul and the five Elements of Nature.
There were cultural performances in the form of dance and songs that conveyed messages about the importance of protecting nature and planting trees.
The highlight of the event was a collective Rajyoga Meditation session, where participants were guided to send pure and positive vibrations to the plants placed on stage—symbolizing Healing and Renewal. These silent moments of inner reflection and spiritual connection with the environment leaving a feeling of peace and purpose.
To honor the guests and encourage eco-friendly living, they were presented with a Tulsi (holy basil) plant, revered for its spiritual and medicinal value.
During a heartfelt sharing session, the guests expressed their deep appreciation for the unique spiritual essence of the celebration. They acknowledged the Brahma Kumaris’ for their unwavering commitment to promoting inner peace, moral values, and environmental stewardship. Many shared how the meditation experience profoundly touched them and inspired a renewed commitment to contribute positively to society and the planet.
The event concluded with a plantation drive, enthusiastically supported by dignitaries, guests, and BK volunteers—symbolizing a shared pledge to nurture the Earth and sow seeds of sustainability in both soil and soul.
This meaningful celebration left everyone uplifted and reminded all of their sacred responsibility to protect and cherish our planet, empowered by the silence, love, and divine wisdom of spiritual awareness.
In another event – Rajyogi Brahmakumar Nikunj – Spiritual Mentor, Popular Columnist and National Coordinator of Media Wing of Brahma Kumaris – participated as a distinguished guest in a Global Online event of Vishwa Nishane Par Hai © (VNPH) / Climate Crisis Awareness Campaign, which celebrated its 21st anniversary on World Environment Day 2025. The event was telecasted globally on Official VNPH & Media Partners’ Channels including ‘Pranam India’ and ‘Achievers Junction’. Rajyogi Nikunj emphasized the need for a harmonious relationship with nature, rooted in spiritual identity and self-awareness. He said, the exploitation of natural resources and the resulting environmental degradation are consequences of ever increasing human aspirations. He urged all listeners to plant one sapling & nurture it like own child. He mentioned that by reconnecting with our spiritual values, we can foster a more sustainable and balanced relationship with the environment. The live event included the launch of multiple creative climate engagement platforms. The initiative VNPH Talks – which will see conversations with individuals on their climate positive actions, was unveiled by Rajyogi Nikunj.
